"Rīgas satiksme" calls on passengers to pay attention to numeration of buses and express buses
To plan the resources of "Rīgas satiksme" more efficiently and prevent duplication of route, as of January 1, 2020 the numeration of several minibuses will be changed by replacing the first digit 2 with 3. Thus number 237 will be changed to 337, 241 to 341, and 244 to 344. As during the transition period express bus routes will be served by both orange-and-white and blue-and-white vehicles, “Rīgas satiksme” calls on passengers to pay particular attention to the numeration of routes because the discounts granted by Riga City Council are valid on the routes with numbers starting with 2, but not on those with numbers starting with 3.
