“Rīgas satiksme” has announced an open tender for the procurement of diesel fuel
“Rīgas satiksme” informs that it has announced an open tender for the procurement of diesel fuel. As a result of the procurement procedure, it is planned to conclude a general agreement with several suppliers, the companies of which will be invited to participate in the price survey and submit their bids every month for the next three years. Therefore, continuous competition between diesel suppliers will be ensured, which will allow to get the lowest price offer.
The chairman of the Board of “Rīgas satiksme” Džineta Innusa: “The company’s board is constantly working on the ways to optimize the company's expenses and get the most economically advantageous offers as a result of open tenders. The announced procurement for the supply of diesel fuel is substantial and this position makes up a large part of the company's expenses, so it is very important that the diesel fuel supply process is open and transparent.”
According to the procurement regulations, the supply of diesel fuel must begin no earlier than November 9, 2020. The estimated total contract price is 38.6 million euros over a three-year supply period.
