"Rīgas satiksme" invites parents of 5th and 10th grade school children who have not yet replaced their child's "Schoolchild Card" to do so by September 30
We invite parents of 5th and 10th grade schoolchildren who have not yet replaced their child's "Schoolchild Card" to do so by September 30. If the "Schoolchild Card" is not replaced, from October 1 it will not be valid for travelling in Riga public transport.
To apply for the “Schoolchild Card”, the child parent must fill in an application at www.eriga.lv and parents of "Schoolchild Card" or schoolchildren who have reached the age of 13 will be able to receive it at one of the six "Rīgas satiksme" customer service centers (see addresses here: https://saite.lv/hjV3R), bringing an identity document (passport or eID card) and the old “Schoolchild Card”.

“Student’s card” is a pupil’s certificate in Riga which ensures free rides in the public transport of “Rīgas satiksme”. All students who start learning in 1st grade must receive the card. It must be replaced when starting learning in 5th and 10th grade. Students who change the educational institution or who change the personal data must receive a new “Student’s card”.
