“Rīgas satiksme” invites parents of the 5th and 10th grade pupils to replace the “Pupil’s card” by September 30
We invite parents of the 5th and 10th grade pupils who have not yet replaced their child's “Pupil’s card” to do so by September 30. In case the “Pupil’s card” is not replaced, from October 1, it will not be valid for travelling in Riga public transport.
To apply for the “Pupil’s card”, the pupil’s parent must fill in the application at www.eriga.lv and the pupil’s parents or the pupil who has reached the age of 13 will be able to receive the “Pupil’s card” in one of the five “Rīgas satiksme” customer service centers (addresses see here), please take with you an identity document (passport or eID card) and the old “Pupil’s card”.
In accordance with the valid regulations, customer service in “Rīgas satiksme” customer centers takes place by prior appointment. We invite you to apply for a visit to the customer service center electronically here.
“Pupil’’s card” is a student identification document for pupils of Riga which secures free travel in “Rīgas satiksme” public transport. The card must be received by all pupils who start studies in grade 1. It must be replaced in the beginning of studies in grade 5 and 10. A new “Pupil’s card” must be obtained by those pupils who change their educational institution or whose personal data change.
