„Rīgas satiksme” invites to vote for drawing that will be printed on yellow e-tickets
Starting from today, May 28th, every visitor of "Rīgas satiksme" webpage www.rigassatiksme.lv can watch the drawings created by children and vote for their favourites, which will be printed on yellow e-tickets. Voting will take place until June 30, and it will be possible to vote only once from one IP address per day.
This year “Rīgas satiksme” marks its 15th anniversary, that is why 16 children of “Rīgas satiksme” employees participated in the contest. At the beginning, the children were introduced to the daily life of trolleybus depot No. 16. They saw how trolleybuses are repaired, washed, issued to and received from lines, but in the second part of the event the children could express themselves under the guidance of artist Jānis Anmanis and create drawings that will be printed on tallow e-tickets.

"Rīgas satiksme" established the tradition of organizing an annual event for children, during which they created drawing for yellow e-tickets, was established back in 2010. During these eight years, more than 150 children visited the enterprise and participated in drawing contests, which covered a wide range of themes, such as “Moderns public transport”, “Low-floor tram”, “Trolleybus in Riga – 70” etc. The vent gas also become for “Rīgas satiksme” passengers, who can now affect the design of yellow e-ticket, by voting for one of the drawings on website www.rigassatiksme.lv.
