"Rīgas satiksme" opens new customer service centre in Spīkeru Street
As there are more and more opportunities for using e-tickets, the company decided to open a new customer service centre, the rather that the existing ones are usually very busy in September and October.
The new centre is located close to the busiest public transport stops and the Central Railway Terminal, where many transfer to another transport. So far "Rīgas satiksme" has operated only one customer service centre in the centre of the city – at Riga bus station, which served 50% of all those having to solve e-ticket related issues.
In the new centre, like in other ones, customers can apply for and get personalized e-tickets, extend their status entitling them to discounts in public transport, as well as solve various e-ticket related issues.
"Rīgas satiksme" customer service centres are located at Prāgas Street 1, Brīvības Street 191, Brīvības gatve 384b, Kurzemes Avenue 137 and Vienības gatve 76b. It shall be reminded that they are open from 9:00 till 19:00 on workdays and from 10:00 till 16:00 on Saturdays.
In May 2011 "SKDS" carried out an opinion survey to find out how clients are satisfied with the work of customer service centres. 89% of respondents having visited customer service of "Rīgas satiksme" said that they are generally satisfied with their work, but 49% said that they are fully satisfied.
