19 948 inspections of public transport carried out in December

Statistics of „Rīgas satiksmes” about public transport inspections carried out in December 2018:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:
Trams	408
Trolleybuses	771
Buses	1305
Total:	2484
including:
Fine receipts	730
Fine invoices	1754

This is by 965 fare dodgers less than in November 2018, when 3449 passengers were fined for fare dodging in public transport.

Total:	19948

Just to compare – 26245 ticket inspections were carried out in November 2018, which is by 6297 more than in December 2018.

In December 2018, the maximum number of fare dodgers (248) was fined on bus route No. 3. At the same time, nobody was fined for dare dodging on bus routes No 29, 34, 54, 57 and 59.
