21 511 public transport inspections carried out in July

Statistics of „Rīgas satiksme” about public transport inspections carried out in July 2018.

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:

Total:	2771
including:
Fine receipts	727
Fine invoices	2044

This is by 1053 fare dodgers less than in June 2018, when 3824 passengers were fined for fare dodging in public transport.

Total:	21511

Just to compare – there were 27009 ticket inspections in June 2018, which is by 5498 inspections more than in July 2018.

In July 2018, the maximum number of fare dodging was fined on bus route No. 3 (260), yet nobody was fined on bus routes No. 47, 57 and 59.
