26 309 ticket inspections carried out in March

Statistics of „Rīgas satiksme” about public transport ticket inspections in March 2016:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:
Trams	1562
Trolleybuses	2725
Buses	3571
Total:	7858
including:
Fine bills	1477
Fine receipts	6381

It is by 350 fare dodgers more than in February 2016, when 7508 passengers were fined for fare dodging in public transport.

Number of ticket inspections in public transport:
Trams	4032
Trolleybuses	9267
Buses	13010
Total:	26309

Just to compare: there were 23704 ticket inspections in February 2016, which is by 2605 inspections less than in March 2016.

In March 2016the maximum number of fare dodgers was fined on trolleybus route No. 15 – 785 passengers, but the minimum number on bus routes No. 28 and 36 – 1 passenger on each route.
