27 548 ticket inspections carried out in public transport in January

Statistics of „Rīgas satiksme” about ticket inspections carried out in January 2018:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:
Trams	943
Trolleybuses	1275
Buses	2330
Total:	4548
including:
Fine receipts	1088
Fine bills	3460

This is by 429 fare dodgers more than in December 2017, when 4119 pasengers were fined for fare dodging in public transport.

Ticket inspections in public transport:
Trams	3796
Trolleybuses	9663
Buses	14089
Total:	27548

Just to compare: there were 25395 ticket inspections in December 2017, which is by 2153 less than in January 2018.

In January 2018, the maximum number of fare dodgers (328) was fined on bus route N0.3, but on bus route No. 57 there wrere no fare dodgers at all.
