4369 fare dodgers fined in "Rīgas satiksme" public transport in January

Statistical data of Rīgas satiksme on ticket checkups in public transport in January 2013:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:
Buses	1186
Trolleybuses	1650
Trams	1533
Total:	4369
including:
Fine receipts	3728
Fine bills	641

It is by 883 fare dodgers more than in December 2012, when 3486 passengers were fined for not paying fare in public transport.

Number of ticket checkups in public transport:
Buses	8377
Trolleybuses	8299
Trams	4801
Total:	21477

Just to compare: there were 16810 ticket checkups in December 2012, which is by 4667 less than in January 2013.

The maximum number of passengers (456) were fined for fare dodging on tram route No. 6, and the minimum number (0) on bus route No. 34.
