6008 fare dodgers detained in Riga public transport in September

Statistical data of "Rīgas satiksme" about ticket checkups in Riga public transport in September 2011:

It is by 1595 fare dodgers more than in August 2011, when 4413 passengers were fined for using public transport without paying.

Total:	28463

Just to compare: there were 24920 ticket checkups in August 2011, which is by 3543 checkups less than in August 2011.

In August 2011, the maximum number of passengers fined for fare dodging was on tram route No. 6 (475), but the minimum number on bus route No. 34 (0).
