Activity of passengers doubles during information campaign "Traucē? Rīkojieties!"

Data of "Rīgas satiksme" show that since October 2014, when the company launched information campaign "Traucē? Rīkojieties!" ("Feel disturbed? Take action!"), the activity of passengers has grown considerably and the number of undesirable passengers expelled from public transport has doubled.

The company’s data show that during the period from June till October 20014, when the information campaign was launched, the number of undesirable passengers expelled from public transport reached 383, but in the period of October 2014-February 2015 it reached 631. Just to compare: in January-February 2014 the number of undesirable passengers expelled from public transport reached 133, but in January-February 2015 it reached 285, which means that the number has doubled.

"Rīgas satiksme" reminds: if you notice somebody disturbing other passengers (noisy persons, persons in dirty clothes), don’t be indifferent. Call police at 110 or inform the driver. Find out more about the campaign at: https://www.rigassatiksme.lv/lv/trauce-rikojieties/.

In October 2014, Rīgas satiksme together with Riga Municipal Police launched information campaign "Traucē? Rīkojieties!", the aim of which is to inform passengers about how they should act in cases when there are persons in public transport who disturb (are noisy, smelly etc.) or threaten other passengers.
