Application for “Pupils’ e-card” for the parents of Riga 1st, 5th and 10th grade pupils on the portal www.eriga.lv has been extended until September 9
In order to allow as many parents of Riga 1st, 5th and 10th grade pupils as possible, as well as the parents of pupils who change educational institutions, to apply their children for “Pupils’ e-card” in the portal www.eriga.lv, the remote application deadline has been extended to September 9. If the application for Pupils’ e-card is completed on the portal www.eriga.lv by the mentioned date, it will be possible to receive it at the educational institution where the child is studying until the middle of September, without having to go to any of the customer service centers.
“Rīgas satiksme” explains that when filling in the application for making a Pupil’s card on the portal www.eriga.lv, the data about the student and the school where the child studies are selected automatically. Only a photo of the pupil must be attached to the application. Based on the received application, the Pupil’s cards made by “Rīgas satiksme” will be delivered to the respective schools.
The Pupil’s card is a student identification card for pupils of Riga, which secures free trips on “Rīgas satiksme” public transport. All pupils starting studies in the 1st grade must receive the card. It must be replaced at the beginning of the 5th and the 10th grade. A new Pupil’s card must be obtained by those pupils who change their educational institutions or whose personal data changes.
