August 9: changes in location of public transport stops in Ķīpsala and on some public transport routes during triathlon contests
"Rīgas satiksme" informs that due to triathlon contests on August 9 until approximately 18:00 there will be changes in location of public transport stops „Press house” and „Ķīpsala”, on trolleybus route No 9 and bus route No. 13, and bus route No. 57 will be closed.
From 4:00 till approximately 18:00 traffic will be closed on the descent from and ascent to Vanšu Bridge in both directions, so public transport stop „Ķīpsala” will be transferred to the main part of the bridge and public transport stop „Preses House” will be transferred to the main part of the bridge across the Zund canal before the descent to Ķīpsala.
On August 9 until 18:00 trolleybus No. 9 will run from the city centre to Iļģuciems by the route to Uzvaras Boulevard, than in Uzvaras Boulevard, Slokas Street, Kalnciema Street and further by the route.
Bus No. 13 will run from terminal „Preču – 2” to Babīte railway station by the route to K.Valdemāra Street, then in K.Valdemāra Street, Slokas Street, Dagmāras Street, Buļļu Street and further by the route.
On August 9 bus route No. 57 will be closed.
During the above period, those passengers using monthly tickets on the trolleybus and bus routes to be changed will be allowed to use these tickets on other bus and trolleybus routes to reach the necessary destination without registering their trips.
