By minibus route No. 271 it will be possible to get to the P. Stradins, Linezers and Gaiļezers hospitals without a transfer
At present, passengers use two public transport vehicles to get to the hospitals. By extending route No. 271, passengers will be able to get to the P. Stradins, Linezers or Gaiļezers hospitals more quickly and conveniently.
On working days minibuses of the extended route will run more often in the morning hours with an interval of 14-30 minutes, during the day with an interval of 16-35 minutes and in the evenings with an interval of 14-30 minutes. On holidays, minibuses of this route won’t run. The changes will come into force from 19 September.
Minibuses of the extended route will run in the direction from P. Stradins Hospital along the following route: from P. Stradins Hospital till Aizpriežu Street, then Aizpriežu Street – Linezera Street – Dzērbenes Street – Brīvības Avenue – Šmerļa Street – Malienas Street – Hipokrātu Street till the terminal on Gaiļezera Street.
In the direction from Gaiļezera Street on Gaiļezera Street – Hipokrātu Street – Malienas Street – Šmerļa Street – Brīvības Avenue – Krustabaznīcas Street – Ropažu Street – Dzērbenes Street and further down the route till the terminal Pauls Stradins Hospital. Total length of the route is 17.4 km.
