Christmas holidays: free parking lots of “Rīgas satiksme” and changes in operation of public transport and customer service centres
„Rīgas satiksme” informs that during Christmas holidays the parking lots operated by the company will be free of charge, except the underground parking lot at K.Valdemāra Street 5a. There will be also changes in the operation of public transport and customer service centres.
Public transport (trams, trolleybuses, buses)
On December 24, 25 and 26 the public transport will run according to the holiday schedule.
Passengers who have bought monthly tickets for working days should take into account that these tickets will not be valid on December 24, 25 and 26.
Parking lots
Pay parking lots of Riga municipality operated by „Rīgas satiksme” will be free of charge on December 24, 25 and 26, except the underground parking at Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street 5a, where parking services will be paid according to the existing tariffs.
Customer service centres
On December 23, the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be open from 8:00 until 17:00, the other five customer service centres will work as usually on working days, i.e. until 19:00. On the holiday eve, legal persons will be served at the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 191 from 8:00 until 16:00.
On Tuesday, December 24, the customer service centre at Spīķeru Street 1 will be open from 10:00 until 16:00, the other five customer service centres will be closed.
On December 25 and 26, all customer service centres will be closed.
Minibuses, express buses and night transport
On December 24, 25 and 26 minibuses and express buses will run according to the holiday schedules.
Night transport will be provided in the night of December 20/21 and 21/22.
