Contest ends: drawing by Katrīna Vidnere to decorate yellow e-tickets
1084 website visitors voted for Katrīna’s drawing. The second place with 418 votes is held by Anna Linda Koreņika, and the third by Romāns Bušmeņkovs with 232 votes.
This year the new design for new e-ticket was created by pupils of Riga boarding school for children with hearing disabilities. 8 drawings were put on the vote, which lasted from May 15 till June 15, and 2393 votes were given in total during the contest. The theme of the contest is "Modern public transport".
Despite a new design, the e-ticket keeps all its functions.
"Rīgas satiksme" organises the contest of children’s drawings for e-ticket’s design for a sixth year in a row. During the contest, Riga children create design for yellow e-tickets, which is changed twice a year. Every visitor of www.rigassatiksme.lv may vote for the drawing he/she likes most, thus taking part in the process of creating e-ticket’s design. The company reminds that in 2014 the design of the e-ticket was created by children from youth centre "Mīlgrāvis". As a result of the contest, the drawing made by Anastasija Volkova collected 1795 votes and, starting from December 11, it was printed on yellow e-tickets.
