Customer service centres of "Rīgas satiksme" served 159 028 clients in 2012

In 2012 customer service centres of "Rīgas satiksme" served 159 028 clients, an increase of 25 491 on 2011, when 133 537 visitors of customer service centres were served. A majority of clients, 53 030, visited customer service centres of "Rīgas satiksme" to extend the status entitling them to pay a reduced fare or no fare. The most popular customer service centre, which served 31 899 clients, is located at Riga international bus station.

In 2012 the customer service centres issued a total of 73 379 new e-tickets, including 48 968 Pipil’s e-cards. 28 017 e-tickets were issued repeatedly after being lost or having technical problems.

To make the process of receiving e-tickets simpler for clients, last year mobile customer service centres of Rīgas satiksme visited 126 Riga schools, where 23 668 pupils were granted the status which entitles them to use Riga public transport free of charge.

The customer service centres of Rīgas satiksme are located at Brīvības Street 191, Prāgas Street 1, Spīķeru Street 1, Brīvības Street 384b, Vienības gatve 76b, Kurzemes Avenue 137 (open 9.00-19.00 on workdays and 10.00-16.00 on Saturdays), as well as  at Brīvības Street 49/53 (open 9.00-19.00 on workdays and 10.00-15.00). The customer service centres at Spīķeru Street is open also on Sundays (10.00-16.00).
