Public transport (trams, trolleybuses, buses)
On December 31 and January 1 the public transport in Riga will run according to the holiday schedule. Passengers will be allowed to use public transport free of charge.
To provide a more comfortable delivery of passengers to the places where festive events will be held and back home, additional runs will be organised from around 20.00 of December 31 till 4:00 of January 1:
- on tram routes No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, and 11:
- on trolleybus routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22, and 27;
- on bus routes No. 3, 11, 12/23/26 (combined, runs across Akmens Bridge), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 50, 51, and 53.
Customer service centres
On December 30 the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will be open from 8:00 till 17:00, but the other six customer service centre will be open as usually on working days, i.e. till 19:00. On the holiday eve legal persons will be served in the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 191 from 8:00 till 12:00.
On December 31 and January 1 all customer service centres will be closed.
Parking lots
On December 31 and January 1 the parking lots served by „Rīgas satiksme” will be available free of charge, except for the underground parking at K.Valdemāra Street 5a where parking services will be charged for according to the effective tariffs.
