Due to the construction works of the Eastern Highway, from August 2 there will be changes in the route and schedule of bus No. 58
“Rīgas satiksme” informs that due to the 1st stage of the construction works of the Eastern Highway section “Ieriķu street – Vietalvas street”, from Monday, August 2, there will be changes in the route and schedules of bus No.58. The bus stops “Stārķu street”, “G. Zemgala gatve“, “Vaidavas street”,“ Ūnijas street” and “Ieriķu street” will be temporarily closed.
From August 2, 2021, due to traffic closures at Gustava Zemgala gatve, bus No. 58 will run from Vecmīlgrāvis and Vecāķi in the direction along the route to Gustava Zemgala gatve, then to the turning place at VEF Culture Palace (destination “Brīvības gatve”) and back to Vecmīlgrāvis and Vecāķi along the route. A temporary stop “Brīvības gatve” (in the direction of Vecmīlgrāvis) will be established near the VEF Culture Palace.
In addition to the abovementioned, from August 2 there will be changes in the working day and weekend schedules of bus No.58.
In the light of the above, changes to the route of bus No. 58 are planned until December 15 of this year, but construction works may be completed before the deadline or the deadline may be extended.
