Due to the ongoing dismantling works in Prāgas Street, from July 11, there will be temporary changes in tram movement

From July 11, it is planned to carry out infrastructure dismantling works in Prāgas Street, which will affect the running of trams in the vicinity of the city centre. Temporarily, from July 11, changes will be made in the movement of tram routes No. 1, 2, 5, 7 and 10 and the location of the serviced stops. For tram route No. 2 and 10, during the dismantling works, on weekdays, the departure time from the final point will change slightly.

In tram routes, the following changes are scheduled:

tram route No. 1 from the final point “Imanta”, will run along the route to the stop “Grēcinieku Street”, further along 11. novembra krastmala, 13. janvāra Street, Radio Street and further along the route. In this direction, the stop “Prāgas Street” (in Prāgas Street) will be closed, in the belt-line, trams will stop at the stop “13. janvāra Street” (in 13. janvāra Street).
Whereas, from the final point “Jugla”, trams route No. 1 will run along the route to the stop “Stacijas laukums”, further along Radio Street, 13. janvāra Street, 11. novembra krastmala and further along the route. In this direction, the stop “Centrāltirgus” (in Centrāltirgus Street) will be closed, in the belt-line, trams will stop at the stop “13. janvāra Street” (in 13. Janvāra Street).
for tram route No. 2 the name of the route will be temporarily changed and it will be “Stacijas laukums - Tapešu Street”. From the final point “Tapešu Street”, trams will run along the route to the stop “Grēcinieku Street”, further along 11. novembra krastmala, 13. janvāra Street, Aspazijas Boulevard, K. Barona Street, Radio Street to the final point “Stacijas laukums”. In this direction, the stop “Centrāltirgus” (in Centrāltirgus Street) will be closed, in the belt-line, trams will stop at the stop “Stacijas laukums” (in Radio Street) and “13. janvāra Street” (in 13. janvāra Street).
Whereas, from the final point “Stacijas laukums”, trams route No. 2 will run along Radio Street, 13. janvāra Street, 11. novembra krastmala and further along the route. In the trips of the route “Depot No. 3 – Stacijas laukums”, trams will run to the stop “Centrāltirgus”, further along Maskavas Street, 11. novembra krastmala, 13. janvāra Street, Aspazijas Boulevard, K. Barona Street, Radio Street to the final point “Stacijas laukums”. In the trips of the route “Stacijas laukums – Depot No. 3”, trams will run along Radio Street, 13. janvāra Street, 11. novembra krastmala, Maskavas Street to tram depot No. 3.
tram route No. 5 will not be changed, except the trips “Mīlgrāvis – Depot No. 3”. There, trams will run along the route to the stop “National opera”, further along Aspazijas Boulevard, 13. janvāra Street, 11. novembra krastmala, Maskavas Street to tram depot No. 3. Whereas, in the trips “Iļģuciems – Depot No. 3”, trams will run along the route to the stop “Grēcinieku Street”, further along 11. novembra krastmala, Maskavas Street to tram depot No. 3.
tram route No. 7 from the final point “Ķengarags” (and from depot No. 3), will run along the route to the stop “Centrāltirgus”, further along Maskavas Street, 11. novembra krastmala, 13. janvāra Street, Aspazijas Boulevard and further along the route. In this direction, the stop “Prāgas Street (in Prāgas Street) will be closed, in the belt-line, trams will stop at the stop “13. janvāra Street” (in 13. janvāra Street). Whereas, from the final point “Ausekļa Street”, trams will run along the route to the stop “National opera”, further along Aspazijas Boulevard, 13. janvāra Street, 11. novembra krastmala, Maskavas Street and further along the route. In this direction, the stop “Centrāltirgus” (in Centrāltirgus Street) will be closed, in the belt-line, trams will stop at the stop “13. janvāra Street” (in 13. janvāra Street).
for tram route No. 10 for the duration of the overpass dismantling works, the name of the route will be changed and it will be “Stacijas laukums - Bišumuiža”. From the final point “Bišumuiža”, trams will run along the route to the stop “Grēcinieku Street”, further along 11. novembra krastmala, 13. janvāra Street, Aspazijas Boulevard, K. Barona Street, Radio Street to the final stop “Stacijas laukums”. In this direction, the stop “Centrāltirgus” (in Centrāltirgus Street) will be closed, in the belt-line, trams will stop at the stop “Stacijas laukums” (in Radio Street) and “13. janvāra Street” (in 13. janvāra Street).
Whereas, from the final point “Stacijas laukums”, trams will run along Radio Street, 13. janvāra Street, 11. novembra krastmala and further along the route. In the trips of the route “Depot No. 3 – Stacijas laukums”, trams will run to the stop “Centrāltirgus”, further along Maskavas Street, 11. novembra krastmala, 13. janvāra Street, Aspazijas Boulevard, K. Barona Street, Radio Street to the final point “Stacijas laukums”. Whereas, in the trips of the route “Stacijas laukums – Depot No. 3”, trams will run along Radio Street, 13. janvāra Street, 11. novembra krastmala, Maskavas Street to tram depot No. 3.
