Fewer fare dodgers in May compared to April

Statistics of "Rīgas satiksme" about ticket inspections in Riga city public transport (buses, trolleybuses and trams) for May 2015:

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:
Buses	2748
Trolleybuses	1697
Trams	1460
Total:	5905
including:
Fine receipts	1009
Fine bills	4896

It is by 581 fare dodgers less than in April 2015, when 6486 passengers were fined for fare dodging in public transport.

Number of ticket inspections in public transport:
Buses	11180
Trolleybuses	6296
Trams	4052
Total:	21528

Just to compare – there were 21458 ticket inspections in April 2015, which is by 70 inspections less than in May 2015.

In May 2015, the maximum number of passengers was fined on trolleybus route No. 15 (432), but the minimum number (0) was on bus route No. 47.
