For two more days, parents of 1st, 5th and 10th grade students in Riga can apply for a “student e-card” on the website www.eriga.lv
For two more days, until 25 August, the parents of first, fifth and tenth grade students in Riga, as well as those students, who are changing an educational institution, can apply for a “student e-card” on the website www.eriga.lv. If the “student e-card” is applied for until 25 August, it will be issued on 1 September at the educational institution where the child studies, without the need to go to any of the customer service centres.
"Rīgas satiksme” explains that when filling in the application for “Student’s card” at www.eriga.lv, data about the student and the school where the student learns are selected automatically. Student’s photo must be attached to the application. On the base of the received application, the “Students’ cards” made by “Rīgas satiksme” are delivered to the relevant schools.
“Student’s card” is a pupil’s certificate in Riga which ensures free rides in the public transport of “Rīgas satiksme”. All students who start learning in 1st grade must receive the card. It must be replaced when starting learning in 5th and 10th grade. Students who change the educational institution or who change the personal data must receive a new “Student’s card”.
