From 15 March, changes will be made to the schedules of buses 3, 4, 34, 37, 41 and 52, as well as trolleybus 3
From 15 March, changes will be made to public transport schedules. On some routes, departure times and intervals will be changed to take account the passenger flows, including the opening hours of logistics centres, shopping centres and industrial facilities in the neighbourhoods concerned.
Bus route 52 at 7.31 from Abrenes iela to Pļavnieku kapi will also run along Noliktavu iela, stopping at – Noliktavu iela. The changes to this route are made to improve the ability of employees of nearby logistics centres to get to their workplace on time.
The bus route 3 at 6.40 from Daugavgrīva will be extended from the Pļavnieki terminus further along Katlakalna iela, Krustpils iela and will run to the stop Krustpils iela 53. There will also be slight changes in departure times from Pļavnieki. The extension of the route from Pļavnieki to Krustpils iela 53 will make it easier for office employees of industrial companies located on Krustpils iela to get to their workplace on time.
To adapt the evening departure times of bus route 4 to the opening hours of the Via Jurmala Outlet Village shopping centre in Piņķi, changes will be made to the departure times of some bus routes after 19.00. On weekdays, departures from Piņki will be at 18.41 (currently 18.35), 19.17 (currently 19.10) and 19.44 (currently 19.41). The departure times from Abrenes iela will also change. Departures will be at 19.58 (currently 19.54) and 20.27 (currently 20.23). At weekends, departures from Piņķi will depart at 18.29 (currently 18.24) and 19.17 (currently 19.09), while the 20.24 departure from Abrenes iela will now be at 20.27.
On the bus route 34, on weekdays, the 17.21 departure from Centrāltirgus will now be at 17.31 and the 18.11 departure from Saulīši will now be at 18.18.
On bus routes 37 and 41, there will be changes in the bus interval from 6.15 to 7.00 and from about 8.10 to 10.10.
On trolleybus route 3 from Centrāltirgus to Sarkandaugava, changes will be made to the schedule interval from 6.50 to 7.30. From Sarkandaugava to Centrāltirgus, the interval remains unchanged, but the departure time of one trip is changed, which will now depart at 7.36 (currently 7.35) from the terminus Sarkandaugava.
Also, following an assessment of the coordination of departure times between the trolleybus 3 and bus 11 routes, changes will be made to the schedule of trolleybus 3 after 23.00.On trolleybus route 3, the trip at 23.20 from Sarkandaugava will be closed, where passengers can alternatively use bus route 11 from the stop Sarkandaugava at 23.22, as well as the trip at 23.34 from Centrāltirgus, where passengers can alternatively use bus route 11 from the stop Centrālā stacija at 23.37.
