From 27 December there will be changes to the bus routes 13, 20, 58 and 63 and their schedules
Due to the completion of the construction works on the Eastern highway, from 27 December there will be changes on bus routes 13, 20, 58, 63 and their schedules on weekdays and weekends. There are also changes to the departure times of bus route 4 on weekdays to ensure a coordinated schedule with bus 13. On bus route 6, some early morning departures in the direction of Biķeri will start from the stop Nīcgales iela.
Bus route 13 will run from Babītes stacija to Preču-2 along the route until Nīcgales iela, then along Nīcgales iela, Vietalvas iela, Vestienas iela, Pildas iela and further along the route.
From Preču-2 to Babītes stacija the bus will run along the route to Pildas iela, then along Pildas iela, Vestienas iela, Vietalvas iela, Nīcgales iela and further along the route.
Bus route 20 from Pētersalas iela to Pļavnieku kapi will run along the route until Pildas iela, then along Pildas iela, Nīcgales iela, Sesku iela, Dārzciema iela and further along the route.
From Pļavnieku kapi to Pētersalas iela the bus will run along the route to Sesku iela, then along Sesku iela, Nīcgales iela, Pildas iela, Vestienas iela, Vietalvas iela, Matīsa iela and further along the route.
Bus route 63 from Šampēteris to Mežciems will run along the current route.
From Mežciems to Šampēteris the bus will run along the route to Sesku iela, then along Sesku iela, Nīcgales iela, Pildas iela, Vestienas iela, Vietalvas iela, Matīsa iela and further along the route.
Thus, the routes on Vestienas iela will run the same in both directions. Two new stops will be provided in Vestienas iela to ensure this.
On bus route 4, there will be slight changes in departure times on weekdays to allow transfers between bus routes 4 and 13 at Babītes stacija.
Bus route 58 from Vecmīlgrāvis to Purvciems will run along the route to Gustava Zemgala gatve overpass, then along Gustava Zemgala overpass, Gustava Zemgala gatve, Ieriķu iela, Dzelzavas iela, Vaidavas iela to the final bus stop Vaidavas iela; in this section, buses will stop at Brīvības gatve (on G. Zemgala gatve after the intersection with Brīvības gatve), Stārķu iela (on Ieriķu iela), Gustava Zemgala gatve (on Dzelzavas iela), Vaidavas iela (on Vaidavas iela, the furthest stop where no other routes stop).
From Vecmīlgrāvis to Purvciems, the route will run along Vaidavas iela, Ieriķu iela, Gustava Zemgala gatve, Gustava Zemgala overpass and further along the route. On this section, buses will stop at Vaidavas iela (on Vaidavas iela, the furthest stop where no other routes stop), Ūnijas iela, Ieriķu iela (on Ieriķu iela, between Kastrānes and G. Zemgala gatve), Brīvības gatve (the joint stop with the bus route 48);
The temporary bus stop Brīvības gatve (only for bus 58 towards Vecmīlgrāvis) on Gustava Zemgala gatve near VEF Culture Palace will be closed, bus route 58 towards Vecmīlgrāvis will stop together with bus route 48 at the bus stop Brīvības gatve.
Bus route 6 started its departure from the final destination Biķeri, buses departing from the park will start serving passengers from the stop Nīcgales iela (in the direction to Biķeri). This change will increase the possibilities for passengers to reach their destinations in Biķeri earlier than at present between Nīcgales iela and Dreiliņupīte. Bus departure times from the stop Nīcgales iela in the direction to Biķeri on weekdays at 4.50, 5.20, 5.49, on weekends at 5.10 and 6.00.
With the changes to the routes, the departure times from the bus stops will also change, but the number of departures will remain the same.
