Gints Zeltiņš and Ingus Rūtiņš appointed interim members of “Rīgas satiksme” Board
Today, March 19, the Council of “Rīgas satiksme” appointed Gints Zeltiņš un Ingus Rūtiņš interim members of the company’s Board. The interim members of the Board will fulfil their duties until temporary members of the Board are approved.
“Rīgas satiksme” Council Chairman Ainārs Ozols said that the interim members of the Board had been appointed to ensure a full, stable and efficient operation of “Rīgas satiksme”. The appointed interim members of the Bord are professionals in their field with competence and experience in financial management and the organization and management of transport, transport infrastructure and public transport.
Gints Zeltiņš holds a master’s degree from the University of Latvia. In 2016-2019 he was the administrative director of SIA “Dokumeds”, in 2017-2018 he worked as the leading international financial advisor in a World Bank project in Ukraine. He was a council member at the Latvian Public Utility Regulation Commission in 2006-2016 and had held other senior positions previously.
Ingus Rūtiņš graduated from Riga Technical University with a degree in automobiles and automobile industry. Since 2010, he has been a vice president and a board member of society “Auto Asociācija”, in 2012-2013 he was the trade director of SIA “Amserv Latvija”, and in 2005-2011 the director of SIA “Moller Auto Latvija”, and had held other senior positions previously.
Gints Zeltiņš will take up his duties of the interim member of the Board on March 23, and Ingus Rūtiņš on April 1.\
Currently the Board of “Rīgas satiksme” comprises three members – Džineta Innusa, Inga Krūkle un Jānis Golubevs.
