Holder’s of Riga resident’s card plan to use 1-hour tickets

Holders of Riga resident’s card are interested to buy 1-hour tickets for both working days and holidays as it is an advantageous offer. This is testified by the results of the opinion poll that was carried out on the website of “Rīgas satiksme” in June.

61% respondents in total noted that they plan to use 1-hour tickets. 20% of respondents pointed out that they have no Riga resident’s cards, and 19% are interested in using other types of tickets and don’t plan to use 1-hour tickets.

As of July 1 “Rīgas satiksme” offers 1-hour tickets for both working days and holidays. For Riga residents, the price of 1-hour ticket is 1.15 EUR for working days and 0.60 EUR for holidays. For pensioners, the price is 0.60 EUR, and for students it is 0.30 EUR. “Rīgas satiksme” reminds that non-Rigans can also buy 1-hour ticket for 2.30 EUR and load it into yellow e-tickets.
