In August passengers asked many questions about tickets

In August, the information centre of "Rīgas satiksme" received a total of 24, 719 customer inquiries, which is the highest amount since the beginning of the year. Most of customers – 23,056 wanted to receive various information, e.g. about terms of using tickets and receiving the 100% discount for pupils.

Every month the information centre receives many questions about routes and schedules. In August it was also one of the key subjects (17 371 calls), and the highest activity was during Riga festival.

Shortly before the beginning of the academic year the information centre of "Rīgas satiksme" received more questions about tickets – an increase of about 1000 questions on the monthly average. Pupils and their parents asked questions about the 100% discount – are they entitled to it, where can they get it, which documents are necessary etc. They also asked questions about the "Pupil’s e-card" – who can get it, on what conditions, how it will function.
