It will be possible to pay with e-tickets in night minibuses as of April 1
The approved changes provide that it will be possible to pay for night minibus services with e-tickets to which a certain number of trips has been loaded. As a result, the price of tickets in night minibuses will also decrease and from April 1 it will be EUR 1.15. The price of ticket sold by driver will not change – EUR 2.00.

The following categories of passengers will be carried free of charge, like before: children of preschool without occupying an additional seat, disabled persons of group I or II, disabled persons under the age of 18 and a person accompanying a disabled person of group 1 or a disabled person under the age of 18.
„Rīgas Mikroautobusu satiksme” explains that the increase in the use of e-tickets will reduce the cash flow and will also improve traffic safety, because the main duty of a minibus driver is transportation of passengers. The minibuses will run more precisely and the risk of drivers not issuing tickets to passengers will be also reduced.
