June 19: changes in public transport traffic due to „Toyota Riga Cycling Marathon”
Buses
Bus No. 10 will run from the city centre by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, in Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route. In direction of the city centre bus No. 10 will run by the route to Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, then in Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the turnabout without reaching Mūkusalas rotation circle, then in Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the turn to Bauskas Street, then in Bauskas Street, Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge and further by the route.
Bus No. 12 will run from 9:00 to cooperative society „Ziedonis” by the route to Satekles Street, then in Satekles Street, 13th January Street (it will stop at the stop of bus No. 23 „13th January Street”), on the 11th November Embankment, across Akmens Bridge, in Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Jelgavas Street, Bauskas Street, Ziepniekkalna Street, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas Street and further by the route. There will be no changes in the traffic to the city centre.
Bus No. 23 will run from the city centre by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, in Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Jelgavas Street, then by the route to Ziepniekkalna Street, in Ziepniekkalna Street, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas Street and further by the route. In direction of the city centre bus No. 23 will run by the route to motorway A7, then in motorway A7, Ziepniekkalna Street, Bauskas Street, then by the route to Jelgavas Street, then in Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, across Akmens Bridge and further by the route.
Bus No. 26 will run from the city centre by the route to Akmens Bridge, then across Akmens Bridge, in Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route. In direction of the city centre the bus will run by the route to Jelgavas Street, then in Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge and further by the route.
Buses No. 13, 37, 41 and 53 will run from Pārdaugava to the city centre across Vanšu Bridge without entering Ķīpsala. Stop „Ķīpsala” will be transferred to the main roadway.
Bus No. 57 will not stop, during the cycling marathon, at stop „Ķīpsala” when running to the city centre.
Trolleybuses
Trolleybus No. 5 will run from Pauls Stradiņš hospital to “Daugava” stadium across Vanšu Bridge without entering Ķīpsala. Stop „Ķīpsala” will be transferred to the main roadway. There will be no changes in the traffic to Pārdaugava.
Delays are expected in traffic of trolleybus No. 9 due to traffic restrictions in Raņķa dambis and Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street (before Vanšu Street).
Trolleybus No. 12 will run from Āgenskalna priedes to Šmerlis across Vanšu Bridge, without entering Ķīpsala. Stop „Ķīpsala” will be transferred to the main roadway. There will be no changes in the traffic to Pārdaugava.
Trolleybus No. 19 will run from Pētersalas Street to Ziepniekkalns and back across Salu Bridge, without going to Mūkusalas rotation circle (as bus No. 40).
Trolleybus No. 24 will run from Pētersalas Street to JSC “Dzintars” and back across Salu Bridge, without going to Mūkusalas rotation circle (as bus No. 40).
Trolleybus No. 25 will run from Iļģuciems to Brīvības Street across Vanšu Bridge, without entering Ķīpsalā. Stop „Ķīpsala” is transferred to the main roadway. There will be no changes in the traffic to Pārdaugava.
Trolleybus No. 25 will run from Ziepniekkalns to Railway Terminal Square by the route to stop „Bieķensalas Street”, then in Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, Akmens Bridge. From Railway Terminal Square to Ziepniekkalns the trollybus will run across Akmens Bridge, in Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further by the route.
