New bus route No. 60 Ķengarags – Ziepniekkalns to open on July 1

„Rīgas satiksme” informs that a new bus route No. 60 will be opened as of July 1. It will cross Dienvidu Bridge and link Ziepniekkalns to Ķengarags.

The new route will significantly improve the mobility of those living in Bišumuiža, Ķengarags, Valdlauči and Ziepniekkalns and communication with other parts of Riga. Passengers going from Ķengarags will be able to transfer to the public transport running in Ziepniekkalns, Bišumuiža and Valdlauči, including trolleybuses No. 19, 24 and 27, buses No. 12, 23, 26, 40, 44, 46 and 56, and tram No. 10. On the other hand, those passengers going from Ziepniekkalns, Bišumuiža and Valdlauči will be able to transfer to the public transport running in Ķengarags, such as trams No. 3, 7 and 9, and buses No. 15, 31 and 49. All the above public transport routes provide access to other parts of Riga.

From Ziepniekkalns the bus will run in Ozolciema Street, Valdeķu Street, Graudu Street, Stērstu Street, Mazā Stērstu Street, Bauskas Street, Ziepniekkalna Street, J.Čakstes gatve, across Dienvidu Bridge and in Maskavas Street.

From Ķengarags the bus will run in Maskavas Street, across Dienvidu Bridge, in J.Čakstes gatve, Ziepniekkalna Street, Bauskas Street, Mazo Stērstu Street, Stērstu Street, Graudu Street, Valdeķu Street, Ozolciema Street.

"Rīgas satiksme" informs that bus No. 60 will run on working days only.
