New discounts for holders of “Riga resident’s card”

Starting from Monday, April 18, new discounts on goods and services provided by some institutions will be made available to holders of “Riga resident’s card”. After registering or presenting “Riga resident’s card”, holders will enjoy discounts at „Mēness” pharmacies, medical institutions of “Veselības centru apvienība” and sanatorium “Yantarniy bereg”.

To get the discount, a holder of the “Riga resident’s card” has to register the card or present it to an employee of the institution which offers the discount, as required. Now discounts are available also on various medical services and goods. More information about the available discounts can be found on the website of “Rīgas satiksme” or providers of discounts.

So far holders of “Riga resident’s card” enjoyed discounts at Riga Zoo, Riga Maternity Hospital, Riga Hospital No. 1 and Riga Hospital No. 2.

To receive a “Riga resident’s card”, a person has to declare his/her place of residence or own a real estate in Riga. The card can be applied for electronically on www.rigassatiksme.lv in section “Tickets”, “Types of e-tickets” and “Riga resident’s card”. The card can be also received in any of “Rīgas satiksme” customer service centers.
