New functions added to interactive map of parking lots on the webpage of “Rīgas satiksme”
Three improvements have been made for the map. Fields of tariff zones are well seen on the map. After clicking on each field, one can see tariffs of the zone, its working hours and types of payment, as well as the price of the resident’s card per month. When clicking on the names of zones below the map, the user is automatically redirected to the necessary tariff zone. A searcher of streets and objects is added above the map, making it easier for users to find the necessary street or object. The function of full screen view function is also added for the map.
Section "Parking services" can be found in the upper menu of the page after clicking on Section "Services" and then on "Parking Services".
The section also preserves the previous functions, which allow to see the location of parking lots, parking lots for disabled persons, underground parking lots and bike-stands, as well as location of parking meters for both cash and non-cash payments. The section also informs about prepayment and post-payment, types of payments with smart devices, monthly card, resident’s card, organisation of parking lots, as well as bout special parking lots for forced storage of vehicles.
