New public transport ticket prices take effect on February 1

"Rīgas satiksme" reminds that on February 1 a new fare tariff, EUR 1.15, was introduced in Riga public transport, which is the price of one trip sold in advance. The price of a single ticket sold by driver is EUR 2. The prices of monthly ticket will be still lower than in 2013, therefore "Rīgas satiksme" calls on those passengers who often use public transport to buy monthly tickets.

*Tickets for this price are available to the categories of passengers corresponding to Riga City Council’s binding regulations No.89

"Rīgas satiksme" reminds that all public transport tickets bought until January 31, 2015 will be valid for 30 days, until March 2 (inclusive). If the tickets are not used until the above date, the customer has to visit one of customer service centres of "Rīgas satiksme", where 100% of money will be repaid for unused tickets. It will be possible to receive the money for unused tickets until January 31, 2016.

The customer service centres of "Rīgas satiksme" are located at: Brīvības Street 191, Brīvības Street 384b, Prāgas Street 1, Spīķeru Street 1, Vienības gatve 117a and Kurzemes Avenue 137. The centres are open: from 9.00 till 19.00 on workdays, from 10.00 till 16:00 on Saturdays, the customer service centre at Spīķeru Street 1 is open also on Sundays from 10:00 till 16:00. The working hours of the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53: from 8.00 till 19.00 on workdays and from 10.00 till 15.00 on Saturdays.
