On December 31 and January 1 public transport will be for free, additional runs will be also provided
„Rīgas satiksme” informs that there will be changes in the operation of public transport, municipal parking lots and customer service centres during the New Year holidays. On December 31 and January 1 public transport (trams, trolleybuses, buses) will be available for free, and additional runs will be provided in the New Year night.
Public transport (trams, trolleybuses, buses)
On December 31 and January 1 public transport will run according to holiday schedules. On these days passengers will be able to use public transport free of charge.
To ensure comfortable transportation of passengers to and from festive events, in the night of from December 31 to January 1 from about .21:00 till 4:00 additional runs will be organized on tram routes No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11, trolleybus routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 27, bus routes No. 3, 11, combined 12/23/ 26 (crossing Akmens Bridge), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 50, 51 and 53.

Customer service centres
On December 30 the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 will work from 8:00 till 17:00, other customer service centre will be open as usually until 19:00. Legal persons will be served at customer service centre at Brīvības Street 191 from 8:00 till 14:30.
On December 31 and January 1 all customer service centres will be closed.
On January 2 customer service centres will be open from 10:00 till 16:00, except the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53, which will be closed on Saturday.
On January 3 the customer service centre at Spīķeru Street 1 will be open from 10:00 till 16:00.
Parking lots
On December 31 and January 1 paid parking lots serviced by „Rīgas satiksme” will be available free of charge, except the underground parking at Kr.Valdemāra Street 5a, where parking services will be charged for according to effective tariffs.
