On June 23 and 24 public transport will be available free of charge
Public transport (buses, trolleybuses, trams)
On June 23 and 24 Riga public transport will run according to the holiday schedule.
Additional runs of public transport will be organized in the night of June 23/24 so as to cover a majority of Riga districts and to provide comfortable transportation to the places where festive events will be held and back. Additional runs will be organized on bus routes No. 3, 11, combined 12/23/26 (runs across Akmens Bridge), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 50, 51 and 53, tram routes No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11, trolleybus routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 27.
Information about the additional runs will be available at public transport stops located in the city centre. You can also find the schedules of additional runs in the Annex attached here.
In the night of June 23/24, from midnight till the end of the event „Let’s celebrate Līgo on the embankment”, all public transport which will go across Akmens bridge to Pārdaugava will stop at public transport stop „Grēcinieku Street”.
Tickets
On June 23 and 24 Riga public transport services (buses, trolleybuses, trams) will be available for free.
Customer service centres
On June 22 all customer service centres will be open as on working days, i.e. until 19:00, except the customer service centre located at Brīvības Street 49/53, which will be open from 8:00 till 17:00.
On June 23 and 24 all customer service centres will be closed.
On June 25 all customer service centres of “Rīgas satiksme” will work according to Saturday’s schedule, i.e. from 10:00 till 16:00, except the customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53, which will be closed on June 25.
On June 26 the customer service centre at Spīķeru Street 1 will be open from 10:00 till 16:00.
Parking lots
On June 23 and 24 all paid parking lots of Riga municipality served by „Rīgas satiksme” will be available free of charge except the underground parking lot located at K.Valdemāra Street 5a next to the House of Congresses, where parking services will be charged for according to current tariffs.
Night transport
The night transport will be available in the nights of June 24/25 and 25/26.
