On September 19, during “Toyota Riga Cycling Marathon”, there will be changes in public transport traffic

“Rīgas satiksme” informs that on September 19, in the period from 10:30 to 17:00 approximately, due to “Toyota Riga Cycling Marathon”, there will be changes in public transport traffic, furthermore, some stops in Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, Mūkusalas Street, Krasta Street, Bauskas Street and on the Island Bridge will be closed. During this period, passengers who use one-month tickets for changed trolleybus or bus routes to reach the required final point will be able to use them on the other bus, trolleybus and tram routes without registering the trip.

Buses

Route No. 10 buses (from 11:00 to 17:00) from the final point “Abrenes Street” will run along the route to the Akmens Bridge, further along the Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further along the route. In the direction of the centre of Riga, route No. 10 buses will run along the route to Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve, further along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the turning point in the opposite direction, without going to Mūkusalas rotation circle, further along Kārļa Ulmaņa gatve to the ramp to Bauskas Street, further along Bauskas Street, Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, the Akmens Bridge and further along the route.

Route No. 12 buses (from 10:30 to 17:00) in the direction of the cooperative society “Ziedonis” will run along the route to Satekles Street, further along Satekles Street, 13 January Street, 11 November Embankment, the Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Jelgavas Street, Bauskas Street, Ziepniekkalna Street, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas Street and further along the route. In the direction of the centre of Riga, buses will run without any changes.

Route No. 23 buses (from 11:00 to 17:00) from the final point “Abrenes Street” will run along the route to the Akmens Bridge, further along the Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Jelgavas Street, further along the route to Ziepniekkalna Street, along Ziepniekkalna Street, Jāņa Čakstes gatve, Bauskas Street and further along the route. In the direction of the centre of Riga, route No. 23 buses will run along the route to the highway A7, further along the highway A7, Ziepniekkalna Street, Bauskas Street, further along the route to Jelgavas Street, further along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, the Akmens Bridge and further along the route.

Route No. 26 buses (from 11:00 to 17:00) to Katlakalns will run along the route to the Akmens Bridge, further along the Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further along the route. In the direction of the centre of Riga, route No. 26 buses will run along the route to Jelgavas Street, further along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, the Akmens Bridge and further along the route.

Route No. 13, 37, 41, 53 buses during the cycling marathon, from Pārdaugava to the center of Riga will run along the Vanšu Bridge, without entering Ķīpsala. The stop “Ķīpsala” has been moved to the main driveway.

Route No. 57 buses during the cycling marathon will not stop at the stop “Ķīpsala” when heading to the centre.

Trolleybuses

Route No. 4 trolleybuses (from 11:00 to 17:00) from Jugla to Ziepniekkalns and back will run straight along the Island Bridge, without entering the Lucavsala and Mūkusalas rotation circle.

Route No. 5 trolleybuses (from 11:15 to 17:00) from Pauls Stradiņš Hospital to Daugava Stadium, will run along the Vanšu Bridge without entering Ķīpsala. The stop “Ķīpsala” has been moved to the main driveway. In the direction of Pārdaugava, route No. 5 trolleybuses will run without changes.

Route No. 9 trolleybuses due to traffic restriction in Raņķa dambis and Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street (before the Vanšu Bridge) are expected to run with delays.

Route No. 12 trolleybuses (from 11:15 to 17:00) from Āgenskalna priedes to Šmerlis will run along the Vanšu bridge without entering Ķīpsala. The stop “Ķīpsala” has been moved to the main driveway. In the direction of Pārdaugava, route No. 12 trolleybuses will run without changes.

Route No. 19 trolleybuses (from 11:00 to 17:00) from Pētersalas Street to Ziepniekkalns and back will run straight along the Island Bridge, without entering the Lucavsala and Mūkusalas rotation circle.

Route No. 25 trolleybuses (from 11:15 to 17:00) from Iļģuciems to Brīvības Street will run along the Vanšu Bridge without entering Ķīpsala. The stop “Ķīpsala” has been moved to the main driveway. In the direction of Pārdaugava, route No. 25 trolleybuses will run without changes.

Route No. 27 trolleybuses (from 11:00 to 17:00) from Ziepniekkalns to Stacijas laukums will run along the route to the stop “Bieķensalas Street”, further along Jelgavas Street, Akmeņu Street, Valguma Street, Uzvaras Boulevard, the Akmens Bridge and further along the route. From Stacijas laukums, route No. 27 trolleybuses will run along the Akmens Bridge, Uzvaras Boulevard, Valguma Street, Akmeņu Street, Mūkusalas Street and further along the route.

In view of the above, please note that the routes of trolleybuses No. 14, 17, 18, 19 and 23 will change when heading to the trolleybus depot No. 2.
