Parents of 1st, 5th and 10th grade students in Riga are invited to apply for the “Student’s card” in portal www.eriga.lv
The company “Rīgas satiksme” asks the parents of 1st, 5th and 10th grade students in Riga and of students who change the educational institution to arrange for the “Student’s card” in portal www.eriga.lv till August 25 so that they can use the public transport of the company for free during the next school year. If the “Student’s card” is arranges in the portal www.eriga.lv till August 25, it can be received in the educational institution from September 1 and you won’t have to go to a customer centre.
"Rīgas satiksme” explains that when filling in the application for “Student’s card” at www.eriga.lv, data about the student and the school where the student learns are selected automatically. Student’s photo must be attached to the application. On the base of the received application, the “Students’ cards” made by “Rīgas satiksme” are delivered to the relevant schools.
“Student’s card” is a pupil’s certificate in Riga which ensures free rides in the public transport of “Rīgas satiksme”. All students who start learning in 1st grade must receive the card. It must be replaced when starting learning in 5th and 10th grade. Students who change the educational institution or who change the personal data must receive a new “Student’s card”.
