Public transport in Riga starts to run in the Latvian national holiday design

Today, 10 November, public transport in Riga starts running - one bus, one trolleybus and one tram - in the Latvian national holiday design. The vehicles will run on different routes and are planned to run for at least a year in this special Latvia-themed livery.

"Džineta Innusa, Chairwoman of the Board of Rīgas satiksme: "In honour of Latvia's birthday and to congratulate all the citizens of Riga, as well as guests of the city, on the 105th anniversary of the proclamation of Independence of Latvia, Riga Traffic buses, trolleybuses and trams will travel on their routes in a special festive design, proud of their country, city and work. Our buses, trolleybuses and trams are not just vehicles - they are our passengers' companions, both in their daily routine and on festive occasions. In this way, we can not only share the joy of the festivities, but also show our gratitude to previous generations for what we have lived through and achieved, our pride in Latvia and our commitment to strengthening Latvia's independence and building its prosperity! Long live Latvia!"
