Riga public transport will be for free on June 23 and 24
Like last year, there will be extra buses, trolleybuses and trams in the night from June 23 to June 24, which will run approximately every ½ hour (more frequently on routes with higher passenger flow until 2:00 am), covering a majority of the city districts. There will be extra trams on routes No. 4, 5, 6 (including bus route 6T), 7, 10 and 11; extra trolleybuses on routes No. 9, 14, 15, 17, 18, 22 and 27; extra buses on routes No. 3, 11, 12/23/26 (combined), 18, 24, 25, 37, 40, 50, 51 and 53. The schedules of extra public transport and its routes will be available at www.rigassatiksme.lv, as well as at public transport stops located in the city centre.

On June 23 and 24 pay parking-lots operated by "Rīgas satiksme" will be free of charge, except those located in Old Riga, where parking will be for pay.
Commercial night transport (buses) will run in the night of June 22-23, the price of tickets will be LVL 1, as usually. But it will not run in the night of June 23-24, as there will be extra trams, trolleybuses and buses running all the night long, which will be available for free.
The Retro tram will run on June 23 and 24 and will be for pay.
There will be fewer minibuses on June 23 and 24, and they will be also for pay.
On June 23 and 24 one customer service centre, at Spīķeru Street 1, will be open for our customers’ convenience from 10:00 till 16:00.
