Riga residents want new public transport vehicles of good quality
72% of the respondents gave a positive answer to question Are new public transport vehicles of good quality important to you?. They also noted that new public transport vehicles are comfortable and functional.
9% of the respondents emphasised that new public transport vehicles are safer, and as many said that just new vehicles influence their choice in favour of public transport.
Only 10% believe that public transport quality does not matter much to them.
The opinion poll, which was held in May, involved more than 3100 "Rīgas satiksme" website visitors.
In May, the website of "Rīgas satiksme" was visited more than 599 000 times, but information about transport news was searched almost 1.5 million times. Information about public transport schedules at http://saraksti.rigassatiksme.lv was requested more than 4 million times.
