Rīgas satiksme invites passengers to be understanding of each other

At "Rīgas satiksme" public transport stops, under public transport routes, new signs have been placed. On these signs is written an invitation for passengers: before boarding public transport, let the passengers out who want to get off to avoid crowding.

"Rīgas satiksme" explained that often they receive customer comments asking for an emphasis on mutual courtesy in public transport. Often customers state that there is crowding at the doors of public transport – passengers who want to board beforehand do not let the passengers out who want to get off the transport. The new signs serve as a reminder to all passengers to promote more pleasant journeys.  

Moreover, "Rīgas satiksme" emphasises to its employees to be indulgent towards customers in order to avoid conflicts, and both the costumers and the employees will feel better. Training and various internal campaigns for drivers, ticket collectors and other employees who communicate with customers are organised on a regular basis.  

After hearing recommendations from passengers, "Rīgas satiksme" occasionally distributes informative and instructive materials about riding on public transport in public transport vehicles, the company's social networks, stops and elsewhere.
