“Rīgas satiksme” recalls on necessity to use mouth and nose covers in public transport, which can also be as an interesting accessory.
Since May 12, when traveling in public transport, nose and mouth shall be covered by a scarf, muffler or face mask. Such preventive measures are determined to protect people around you and reduce the risks of spreading “COVID-19”. “Rīgas satiksme” asks passengers to be responsible and to comply with determined requirements. Considering the fact that the face may be covered also by a homemade mask, scarf or muffler, we also encourage to make a mouth and nose cover as an attractive accessory.
“Rīgas satiksme” invites passengers to send photos to the company’s social networking – Twitter, Facebook, where can be seen their ways of mouth and nose covering in public transport. Therefore encouraging also others to be responsible, covering the mouth and nose by an interesting cover.
As the company’s observations show, every day the number of passengers, who travels in public transport using mouth and nose covers, increases, for what we are very grateful to them.
To reduce a risk of spreading “COVID-19” everyone needs to be involved, therefore it is important for citizens to have as little social contact as possible and to use public transport during an emergency only if there is no alternative.
