Schedule of bus route No. 16 to change as of January 16 due to state funding cuts
„Rīgas satiksme” informs that working day and holiday schedules of bus route No. 16 and the route itself will change as of January 26, 2018.
We inform that due to the state funding cuts the number of runs of bus No. 16 going outside Riga borders will be reduced, and terminal „Garkalnes Mucenieki” will change name to „Sunīši”. The number of runs within Riga borders will remain unchanged, but the number of those going outside Riga borders will be reduced by 65% on working days and by 55% on holidays.
From now on, bus No. 16 will go from terminal „Abrenes Street” to paper mill „Jugla”, and only some runs will reach Mucenieki or Sunīši.
