Smaller buses to serve some runs on bus route No. 28 as of October 1
„Rīgas satiksme” informs that as of October 1, 2019, to make passenger transportation more cost-effective, some evening runs on working days and some morning and evening runs on holidays will be served on bus route No. 28 by the subcontractor of „Rīgas satiksme”, which can offer vehicles of smaller size in line with the passenger flow.
Passengers who use monthly tickets for one route, which have been registered for the first time on a bus route other than No. 28, but also use bus route No. 28 where it overlaps with the monthly ticket’s route, will have to present their e-tickets to driver of the smaller-size bus, so that the driver could issue an overlapping routes tickets for the section where the two routes overlap. For other groups of passengers, the order of using tickets does not change.
