Some bus routes to change schedules and location of stops

Rīgas satiksme informs that due to insufficient co-funding from the state budget workday and holiday schedule of bus route No. 23 will be changed and the number of runs will be reduced. Changes will not affect on-peak hours, where it is possible, and the first and the last runs will be also preserved, in order not to worsen the connection between Baloži and Riga.

Given changes of the above bus route, schedules of bus routes No. 12 and 26 for workdays and holidays will be also changed accordingly, to harmonise them with bus route No. 23. It should be noted that one more run will be added on bus route No. 12, but the number of runs on bus route No. 26 will remain unchanged.

On the other hand, schedule of bus No. 9 will be for passengers comfort as of March 9 for both workdays and holidays, and the number of runs will be increased.

As of April 1 both workday and holiday schedules of bus route No. 18 will be changed for passengers’ convenience to increase the regularity of bus traffic on this route.

Given the proposals of passengers, as of April 1 bus stop 13th January Street on bus route No. 3 (in direction of Pārdaugava) will be transferred ahead to the stop of buses No. 4, 4z, 8, 21, 32, 35 and 43.
