The parents of 1st, 5th, and 10th grade pupils are invited to apply for a Pupil’s card on the portal www.eriga.lv timely
To be able to use “Rīgas satiksme” public transport free of charge in the new school year, the company invites the parents of 1st, 5th, and 10th grade pupils, as well as those pupils who are changing their educational institution to apply for a Pupil’s card in the portal www.eriga.lvuntil August 25.If the Pupil’s card is applied for on the portal by August 25, it will be possible to receive it from September 1 at the educational institution where the child studies without going to any of the customer service centres.
“Rīgas satiksme” explains that when filling in the application for making a Pupil’s card on the portal www.eriga.lv, the data about the student and the school where the child studies are selected automatically. Only a photo of the pupil must be attached to the application. Based on the received application, the Pupil’s cards made by “Rīgas satiksme” will be delivered to the respective schools.
The Pupil’s card is a student identification card for pupils of Riga, which secures free trips on “Rīgas satiksme” public transport. All pupils starting studies in the 1st grade must receive the card. It must be replaced at the beginning of the 5th and the 10th grade. A new Pupil’s card must be obtained by those pupils who change their educational institutions or whose personal data changes.
