The portal www.eriga.lv has started accepting applications for execution of the “Student card”
“Rīgas satiksme” invites parents of the 1st, 5th and 10th grade students of Riga and parents of the students who change their educational institution to apply for the “Student card” of their child on the portal www.eriga.lv until August 25. If you apply for the “Student card”on the portal www.eriga.lv until August 25, then already from September 1, you can receive it in the educational institution where the child studies without the need to contact one of the customer service centres.
When filling out an application for execution of the “Student card” on the portal www.eriga.lv, the data about the student and the school where the child studies are selected automatically. Only a photo of the student must be attached to the application. On the basis of the received application, “Rīgas satiksme” will deliver the prepared “Student cards” to the respective schools.
“Student card” is a student identification card for students of Riga, which secures free trips in “Rīgas satiksme” public transport. The card must be obtained by all students starting studies in the 1st grade. It must be replaced at the beginning of the 5th and 10th grades. A new “Student card” must be obtained by those students who change their educational institution or whose personal data change.
