There will additional public transport runs on January 20 due to hockey game
„Rīgas satiksme” informs that public transport vehicles of larger capacity and additional public transport runs will be available on January 20, 2018, due to a Latvian hockey team „Dinamo Rīga” (Continental Hockey League) game, which is due to take place outdoors on the hockey field of Riga City Council’s Sports Centre at Lielvārdes Street 141, next to secondary school No. 84.
Before and after the hockey game, additional public transport runs will be organized in conformity with the passenger flow on bus routes No 5, 6, 52 and trolleybus route No. 17.
We also inform that for a more comfortable communication with the place where the game will take place, „Dinamo Rīga” will also organize a special free bus route from Riga centre, which will be served by the bus whose exterior display will read „WINTER ICE BREAK 2018”. It is planned that the bus will depart from the place of taking on passengers in Krišjāņa Barona Street (between Radio Street and Raiņa Boulevard) at 10:45, 11:05, 11:25, 11:45, 12:00, 12:15, 12:30, 12:45.
